Ridley Creek State Park Engagement | Noah & Emilee

AHH I’m so excited I get to photograph Emilee and Noah’s wedding day. Emilee was one of my bridesmaids when I got married two years ago. So I’m honored I get to be a part of their day too. They’re such a wonderful, fun, and gorgeous couple. I can’t wait for their beach wedding in September. There’s nothing quite as great as photographing a wedding barefoot in the sand.

Philander Chase Knox Estate Engagement | Katie & Mark

Katie and Mare are one of the sweetest couples. I loved getting to hangout with them that Thursday evening. The real magic happens when couples just have fun and be themselves. Although great lighting, location and outfits make beautiful pictures, laughter & joy are what make beautiful moments. My job isn’t just to capture the pretty picture you see on Pinterest but the moments you love, that fit your story and that you’ll want to remember. But hey if I get an adventurous, fun loving couple & good lighting I’ll take all of it anyway.

The Booking House Wedding Mary + Ben | 12.30.18

this couple was one of my favorite couples of all time. their sweet spirits, amazing families and contagious laughter was so much fun to capture and be a part of. mary and her sister and maid oh honor nancy reminded me a lot of me and my sister’s relationship. i may or may not have teared up during all the first dances and all the speeches. and as if a december wedding couldn’t get any better there was hot apple cider, mini pies and a s’mores bar. 2018 couldn’t have ended any better.

this is one of the most precious moments of the day! mary’s first look with her dad. i’m not crying you’re crying!!! if you are on the fence about whether or not to do a first look with you fiance i’d love to chat about the pros and cons of first looks. i’m a huge fan of them just for the sake of time and having an extra intimate moment together. they’re wonderful if you easily get nervous and if you’re anticipating being stressed on. i think a lot of couples don’t want to go first looks because they are dreaming of the isle moment. whether or not you see each other before the ceremony he will still be in awe of his bride walking the isle. i think they’re both unique and special. depending on you as a couple and your timeline you’ll know what is the right choice for you. either way, you should do a first look with your dad because who doesn’t want a moment like this…

i don’t think i’ve ever take these many photos at a wedding before. this blog post is taking me back to one to sweet sweet day. congratulations mr. and mrs. friggle!!
